The library is designed in the form of modest civic monumentality and creates an open space for study and finding information, cultural activities, children’s play, and relaxation. The inner space is organised around a classical high central hall. The composition of the situation and layout of the individual parts is based on the play of empty and full squares. The design was awarded the third highest prize in the architectonic competition.
