After introducing in Prague and Bratislava, the exhibition 20 AFTER 20 CZ-SK / DVACET PO DVACETI CZ-SK [00166] moved to Berlin. On Tuesday, 9th November 2010, we made a trip to Litomyšl to review (and check out) the new [swimming pool] by [DRNH] architects and other jewels of local architecture (and gastronomy).

Within Olomouc Days of Architecture and Building Industries [ODAS], which was held on November 4th–6th 2010, architects Jakub Kynčl and Jiří Knesl gave two lectures: the first one introducing the studio – knesl + kynčl architects, the second one presenting the new Olomouc Master Plan.

The opening of the exhibition of competition proposals for the urban-architectural competition "Římské Square" in Brno [00264] will start at 5.00 p.m., Tuesday, 12th Oct. 2010 in a former jail house in Soudní Street in Brno. During the evening the winners will present their proposals. The exhibition will run until 30 Nov. 2010 and will be opened from Tuesday till Sunday, 10.00 a.m.–6.00 p.m. The admittance is free. House Kuřim 01 [00052] has been nominated for the Architecture Grand Prix – National Architecture Award 2010.

House Kuřim 01 [00052] was awarded the 3rd prize in the Building of the Year 2009 of the South Moravian Region Contest in the category of Residential Buildings.

The web application presenting the conception draft of the new Šumperk Urban Plan [here], developed by Help Forest in collaboration with knesl + kynčl architects, was awarded 2nd prize in the nationwide Golden Crest Contest and 1st prize in Olomouc Region. The aim of this contest is to promote the efforts made by regional and local administrations in the Czech Republic in using Information Society Technologies to improve the quality and accessibility of their public services.
